At St. Paul, we define Small Groups as an intentional gathering, ideally 6-10 people, that meets regularly for the purpose of joining God’s mission. This group of people has a vested interest in the lives of one another, seeking to encourage and maintain a relationship with Christ in all aspects of life. They plan where to meet and arrange their schedules to be there. The group has a regular meeting time and schedule and knows what to expect at each meeting. Most of all, small groups relationally connect people to one another so that group members become more fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ by transforming their lives in many ways:
- living God’s Word in life,
- handling life’s crises and issues better,
- empowering each other and other people,
- and extending hope through relationships with each other and Christ.
